Good, now that we’ve established that, allow me to go into a little dissertation of how I came to love eggs, how my love for eggs has evolved, and where I stand on the matter today.
The seed of egg-loving was incepted by my dear old folks when I was just a wee thing. “Look, a crow!” and while my chubby gaping mouth followed the flight of the bird, in went a little piece of some boiled egg. It was no eggs benedict but it was enough to get me to gobble up the rest of it, all at age 2.
Then came the glorious years of ‘sunny-side-up’. While all the other parents would have such a hard time feeding their little ones eggs, there I was, sat happily at a table, impatiently awaiting my sunny-side-up with crisp toast and just the right amount of salt and pepper. And mind you –I was quite the perfectionist, one leaky yolk, and I’d send it right back to the kitchens!
And well, between my parents egg-feeding habits and amazing breakfast joints that serve up some truly delectable egg treats… I find the time has come to explore some egg recipes by myself! And thus continues my tryst with eggs –hope you found it ‘eggciting’!
