Lately, a lot of culinary delights of different regions have rightly earned a place in our blog. Talking about regions, let’s take up Mumbai this time.
I have been to Mumbai a lot of times. And if you ask me to tell you about the best restaurant in Mumbai, I would say all restaurants are the best. You could hop into a richly embellished, artistically decorated restro or just slop on a roadside Dhaba, it would be hard to abstain yourself from the butter clad Aloo Paranthas. Yes, like in Delhi, they drizzle with ghee in Mumbai too. After all, what fun are paranthas without the sinful oil?
If you have a taste for some English tadka, you can try all that jazz with eggs Benedict. Poached eggs, crisp bacon, and buttered toast- heaven gets even more divine with this! There are some great restaurants for breakfasts that exclusively cater to your English inclination (Eggs Benedict in particular), Smoke House Delhi being one of them. If ever feel the urge to splurge on something, or anything different, try poached eggs of SHD, Mumbai.
An Irani dish, Kheema Pao is tickling the taste buds of many Mumbaikars these days. Served with Lemon and brandished with spiciest of spices, Kheema Pao is nourishing and ravaging at the same time. When it became one of the most cherished gourmet’s delicacies, well that’s still a mystery.
